JA BizTown is an immersive learning experience that helps elementary students discover how people, businesses, and communities work together. Combining classroom learning with a hands-on simulation, students step into a fully interactive town where they take on jobs, operate businesses, earn paychecks, manage money, and make decisions that impact their community.
As they move through the experience, students collaborate with peers, solve problems, practice teamwork, and explore the responsibilities of citizenship, employment, and entrepreneurship. Along the way, they connect concepts from math, social studies, reading, and financial literacy to real-world situations that make learning relevant and memorable.
Guided by volunteers and business professionals, students experience firsthand how decisions, skills, and personal responsibility contribute to success.
