Jo Wise, Regional Director in Oklahoma City, retired yesterday after nine years in her position at Junior Achievement of Oklahoma. Wise has worked in the non-profit sector the majority of her life in leading arts and health organizations. JA will miss her and the tremendous impact she has had on the organization.
“We are very grateful to Jo for her nine years of leadership. During that time she has worked to impact the lives of thousands of students throughout the Oklahoma City area, and has been instrumental in the growth and success of Junior Achievement of Oklahoma” – Shannan Beeler, Junior Achievement of Oklahoma President
“Working for JA has been the most fulfilling experience of my life. The look of enlightenment on those young faces as something I taught broke through to them, is something I will cherish forever” said Wise. “I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to play a small part in fulfilling the JA Mission – To Inspire and Prepare Young People to Succeed in a Global Economy.”
