WHAT IS JA INSPIRE
JA Inspire is a Junior Achievement learning experience that includes an in-class career exploration curriculum and culminates with a career fair. The JA Inspire career fair features Oklahoma companies, showcases high-demand industries, and is aligned with the career cluster framework developed by the Oklahoma Department of Career & Technical Education. This learning experience can be utilized by students in grades 8-12 and includes options for an on-site-based career fair and/or a virtual career fair. Many Oklahoma schools and school districts are utilizing JA Inspire to meet ICAP (Individualized Career Academic Plan) requirements.
8th Grade Students
• Complete a digitally integrated classroom curriculum
• Immerse themselves in a showcase of careers across Oklahoma either in-person or virtually
• Engage with volunteers representing Oklahoma companies (on-site option only)
• Complete a personal reflection
High School Students
• Complete a digitally integrated classroom curriculum
• Immerse themselves in a virtual career fair showcasing career clusters and industries
• Complete a personal reflection
