Programs developed locally by Junior Achievement of Oklahoma
JA Inspire is more than a career fair, it brings together the business community and local schools and is designed to help launch middle school students into their futures: high school, college, and careers beyond. (Grades 6-8)
JA Investor Challenge is an exciting and educational hands-on introduction to the stock market. High school student teams are given the chance to experience a one day stock market event simulated to a 60 day trading period in two hours.
JA Job Shadow Workplace Internship allows students to link school to the world of work in real time. Students interns are matched in a business from their career cluster of interest, then shadow those professionals in the workplace environment. Students are able to build their professional vocabulary and network.
